Backflow incense flows down through a backflow burner and creates a mist around the product. This item must be placed on a heatproof surface. When backflow incense burns the mist it creates can leave a light residue on the burner and the surface the burner is placed on. This is from natural oils and resins within the incense and can be wiped clean with a damp cloth.

Some of our small backflow burners come with a small foam mat that the burner can be placed on when in use, however this is not heat proof so as stated above, the burner must be placed on a heatproof surface before using.

Return and Refund Policy

Scented Dreams do not accept returns or exchange on any handmade items.

If the company is at fault regarding your order, a refund or replacement will happily be shipped out. This must be within 14 days of receiving your order.

If a customer wants to return or exchange an item, they are responsible for the postage and organization to send back to Scented Dreams. This must be within 14 days of receiving the order.

Scented Dreams will refund or replace if an item is:

-Damaged through shipping.

-You have received the wrong item (Scented Dreams will organize the return of the incorrect item)

Scented Dreams will only accept the return of these items if the original package is unopened and undamaged. This must be within 14 days of receiving your order.

To organize a return, replacement or refund please contact Scented Dreams at scented.dreams@outlook.com within 14 days of receiving your order. Once the item has been received and approved for replacement or refund you will be notified through email and your refund or replacement item will be with you within 7 working days.

Any products damaged or modified by the customer will not be accepted for a refund or replacement.

Items returned after 30 days will be subject to a restocking fee.
Shipping policy

All orders under 1kg in weight will be posted to Royal Mail via 2nd Class Large letter resulting in this type of parcel being posted directly through a letterbox.

Orders over 1kg are shipped via Hermes or Yodel. Tracking numbers will be provided once the order has been dispatched to the courier.

International orders will be posted via Royal Mail no matter the parcel weight.

Although we will post out your order as quickly as possible, Scented Dreams do not guarantee delivery within a specified time.

Please ensure the address is correct before placing the order. Scented Dreams does not take responsibility for incorrect addresses.

Signatures are not usually needed but in the event this is needed the courier will leave an ‘attempted delivery’ card if no one is present to receive the package. Delivery attempts usually will be attempted 3 times before being returned to Scented Dreams or available for pick up from the courier’s local depot.

Christmas shipping times will take longer than usual so please ensure plenty of time when placing your order if you would like it to be delivered before Christmas. The delay is usually about 5 working days.

Email confirmation

A confirmation email will be sent out once your order has been dispatched. You will also receive an email stating a time slot for your delivery attempt. This is usually between the time of 9:00am -11:00am.
